How to make a color gradient background in Adobe Illustrator latest version and easy
This time alishadesign will give you a basic tutorial on creating a gradient background in Adobe Illustrator. What is color correction? A gradient is a technique that uses multiple colors in a design to create a certain level of color without destroying or changing the color itself.
Adobe Illustrator has a gradient tool called the gradient tool, which is the main tool for creating gradients or gradient effects. Here, we learned something about using the gradient tool to create a gradient image background or background.
In this tutorial, alishadesign uses Adobe Illustrator 2019. If you use a different version, this shouldn't be a problem, because the tools and steps are the same.
Steps to Create a Color Gradient Background in Adobe Illustrator
Please read and pay attention to the following steps:
I. Of course, the first step is to open the Adobe Illustrator application.
II. Then use the CTRL+N key combination to create a new document and adjust the size as desired. Below is a blank view of the Adobe Illustrator 2019 workspace, which will be our workspace for creating gradients.
III.
IV.
V. Then click on the part of the field you created earlier with the tool
rectangle, and the color changes to a black and white rough gradient.
VI .Click the 3 dots to display the gradient pop-up window, or press Ctrl+F9 to change the gradient color.
VII. Then change the desired color on the gradient slider by clicking the color stop point on the colored circle, as shown in the image below, where have done linear type gradient to form linear color gradient
This is the result of change. Try changing the color settings so they find soft colors and turn them into great looking gradients
VIII.You can change or modify the gradient by changing the gradient type. There are three kinds of color gradations in Adobe Illustrator, namely linear, this color gradation is in the form of straight lines where the colors intersect, radial circles, and free-form gradations are irregular or random.
This is an example of a freeform gradient, you can choose according to your preference or where to place the color.
IX. Hover over the plus sign (+) to add a new color.
X. Then choose the color you want
You can also change the character type
There are two types of characters for freeform gradients, namely dots, which are point color gradients, and lines used as freelines.
The following is the result of applying a line freeform gradient image type. Customize it to meet your needs by clicking create/add gradient color.
The result is as follows, this is just an example, of course if you can make it cooler and more interesting.
Therefore, this is a tutorial on learning graphic design while using Adobe Illustrator to create color gradients.
Happy Designing and stay creative!.
